Posted by: Skeet on April 6, 2007 11:47AM EST Boy, that's the truth. The Mariners should give him extra rest whenever possible. He doesn't need to throw 200 innings at this age. Mainly because, if he does it now, the odds are against Hernandez being able to do it at the (still young) age of 30.

Posted by: Skeet on April 12, 2007 10:22AM EST Wow. A one-hitter against the Red Sox? This kid is something special. 97-99 MPH fastball and a full range of offspeed pitches to go with it. In this game he overshadowed Daisuke with absolute ease. And watching him perform in front of a hostile crowd against one of the best lineups in baseball...that is a whole lot of fun!
