Who will it be? Cormier or Davies. I'm betting on Cormier.

I like this young right-hander. He could be solid as a number five guy.

Down here in Florida...watched Kyle Davies have an excellent outing versus the Phillies. This makes the decision a lot tougher.

Got to rub it in that you are enjoying spring training don't cha Skeet.

Well... I still say Cormier is the pick. If, for no other reason than to be a contrarian to Backus.

Enjoy FL and have a safe trip back to home plate.

I have not had the chance to see either pitch this spring. To me I would rather have Davies in their as the fifth starter, and have Cormier out in the bullpen to make us just that much stronger. I think we could see this spot flip-flop many times this season.

Good point about the fifth spot going back and forth. Davies might get sent down to Richmond and then be back up by early summer. And let's say Chuck James isn't the hero he was last year, or Mike Hampton can't regain his form...that will open the door for Davies. What the heck, it's great having promising young pitchers.
