Here we are again!

Well Yankees fans here we are again. Sitting in our recliners, getting some satisfaction that Detroit was all but swept by a very average Cardinals Team. Another year that NY was left on ht eoutside looking in. The good news is that spring training is right around the corner.

So what do we have to look forward to? Well how about a revamped Yankees Team. (Again) 2007 should be different from recent years. Yankees look to get younger and play small ball not long ball or money ball.

Look for the Yankees to make some major moves.

Let's start on the bench. Good by Maz and hello Donnie Baseball. I could be wrong, and I usually am, but I do not like the choice of grooming Donnie Baseball to be the next Mr. T. I would rather see Joe Gerardi be the skipper.

Next- Look for Sheffield to be delt to a team of his choice. Yanks should get a above average player and a prospect for him. I hope Moose is back in the big apple but, if the price is too hi the Yanks may steer clear. Mike said he would like to finish his career in pinstripes. Pavano could be delt for a major name. It depends on his spring. If he is healthy(if) he could have his best year yet. I am not convienced it's in the city that never sleeps. Melky will be back and I am guessing playing on and off in left and right. Expect to see Matsui and Abreau to see time @ DH with Giambi. Andy Philips will be the starting fristbaseman with Giambi to spell him. Look for George to get two big pitchers and two major utility players. Notice I never metioned A-Rod. We'll whether you like it or not, he is NY's thirdbaseman. I really wish Jeter would switch with him. If I were the captain, I'd take one for the team and learn third. But that's why I do what I do. Enjoy the winter see you in the spring! Gotta loose weight this winter so in the summer I can drink all the Bud and eat all the Nathan's I want! See ya!
