Will Milwaukee compete for NL Central title again?

Can the Brew Crew keep it going this year? Last season, they were rolling along until a late fade handed the crown to the Cubs. The Brewers have good pitching, an improving offense and an underrated manager in Ned Yost. However, the Cubs made some good offseason moves, and oft-injured Kerry Wood has emerged as a legitimate force as the new closer. So while it will be a real battle in the NL Central, one week into the new season, Milwaukee is at least off to a good start.

The Brew Crew

As much as I find it hard to root for NL teams other than the Braves I do root for the Brewers. It seems to me that Ned Yost has been able to make himself quite a team over there and I think that they may be able to compete this season. You got to love Ben Sheets, he is one of my favorite pitchers. Ricky Weeks and Bill Hall seem like two solid players to me and Prince Fielder is defienetly exciting. And I dont think it would be a stretch to say their pitching staffs may be one of the best in the NL. Any brewers fans our there?
