With ownership that seems unwilling to put the right foot forward, but more than happy to fork out fifty-five million dollars to <span></span><a target="_self" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6266">Gil&nbsp;Meche</a> (ranked the twenty-second best starter in the AL last season by ESPN.com) you can only wonder if the Royals are falling deeper down the hole.
